VINEYARD: Different vineyards situated in different parts of the estate North-South position ; 350 meters above sea-level; classic shale clay, typical of Monteriggioni’s area

WINEMAKING: Harvested at the end of September, through Chianti’s area traditional vinification, the fermentation last about ten days in steel tanks and subsequently the wine gets its ripening in big and medium sized oak barrels.

TASTING NOTES: This ruby wine, produced with Sangiovese Grapes, presents a few grenades reflexes and has an heterogeneous bouquet, slightly ethereal, soft and long with hints of plum ; dry, harmonious and soft enough flavor, with a great structure and tannic perceptions, palatable aftertaste and great persistence.

FOOD PAIRING: Superb with meats, game and aged cheeses.
